Byron Bay

Det är advent, igår var första advent, och nu när jag tänker på det så skulle jag ju såklart ha tänt det första ljuset. Det är det första jag ska köpa när jag kommer till Sydney, eller kanske redan när jag kommer till Selena i Canberra på onsdag. Lite julstämning måste jag ju bygga upp trots 30 grader och sol.

Nu har vi snart varit i Byron Bay i en vecka, och här är super mysigt. Stället vi bor på är toppen, och vi får fantastisk frukost varje morgon av vår Airbnb värd. Vi bor alltså i ett hus i ett område som heter Suffolk park, hos en fantastisk kvinna, hon är så cool, lever här och nu, arbetar som pilates instruktör, äter spännande saker och kan allt om astrologi och har en svart katt.

I byron bay ska man surfa, ops, det har jag inte gjort, men har varit en hel del på stranden, cyklat runt och kollat på olika ställen, varit på bikram yoga, ätit mat i staden, varit på Lokal pub, varit på hippie marknad, druckit Tumeric latte och många andra saker. Idag tog vi en promenad upp till Fyren, så vackert, utsikten var jättefin. Jag tittade mest ut över havet och försökte få se något stort, en val, en haj, delfiner eller ja ni vet vad som skulle kunna komma upp ur havet. Men ingen lycka på den fronten.

Det jag mest har att berätta om detta stället är väl att vi tagit det lugn, och varit på straden mest. Ni får helt enkelt kolla på bilderna istället.

It´s december. Yesterday it was the first Sunday on december and a tradition in Sweden is to light a candle, and you keep on doing that every Sunday until Christmas. And I actually forgot that. For me that kind of stuff are so important, so the first thing I will do when I come to Sydney, or maybe already when I will arrive at Selenas place in Canberra on Wednesday is to find 4 candles and make my own Christmas candelabra. I need some Christmas feeling even if it´s 30 degree celsius and a lot of sun.

Now we almost been in Byron Bay for a week and it´s super cozy. Our place we stay at is amazing and we get wonderful breakfast every morning from our airbnb host. We stay in a house in a neighborhood called Suffolk park with a lady and her cat, she's so cool, she lives in the moment, work as a pilates instructor, eats nice stuff, and knows all about astrologi.

Byron Bay is the place to surf.Ops, I haven't done that, but I have been at the Bech a lot, explored the area by bike, went to bikram yoga, had food in the town, went to a hippie market and tried my first tumeric latte. Today we went on a hike to the lighthouse, so beautiful, he view from there was amazing. I looked out over the ocean mostly to see if I could see a wale, a shark, or dolphins, but no luck this time.

So about this place, it´s mostly a chill place and we spent a lot of time at the beach. Check out the pictures!
